A Boy From Birmingham

Hello! My name is Aiden, and this is my sister, Olivia. We are from Birmingham, England. I am in seventh grade and I am thirteen years old. My sister is eleven years old and is in fifth grade. We live in a large, old house close to the city. There are three bedrooms, one living room, and a dining room in the house. My bedroom is small, but I like it. I have posters of all my favourite football teams in it. Olivia has got lots of posters with popstars on them in her bedroom. Our kitchen has got a large cooker in it. It can get very hot in there!

Birmingham is a very old city in England. The weather is usually cloudy and quite rainy. We get lots of rain and fog in the winter. We wear our winter jacket for six months a year! In the summer, it is very sunny. We often wear trousers in the summer, because it doesn’t get very hot. Olivia and I usually ride the bus to travel around the city. Many people ride bicycles, too.
