A busy week – We’re getting ready!

Our school play is next week, and we’re very excited. But we’re really busy because we’re getting ready for it.

Everybody is doing something. I’m writing the invitation cards and sending emails to friends and family.
I want them to come and see our play.

Leyla and Mr Jacob are making our clothes for the play. I’m wearing a bird costume in this play.

Jack isn’t making anything. He’s practising the sentences in the play with all the actors.
My sentences are short, so it’s easy to memorise them. 

Tina and Tori have got some money from the school.
They’re shopping for the things we want to put on the stage, like chairs, tables and crowns for the King and Queen.

I really hope that everybody likes our play.
