A DAY AT THE MUSEUM

Dear Aunt Denise,

You’re not going to believe what happened to me yesterday! I went to see the dinosaur exhibit at the local museum, and I lost my phone! I was with my friends, Adrienne and Barbara, and they said they saw a man who looked like a thief in the Jurassic Period room. Barbara said that he was eating a slice of pizza and had a piece of cheese stuck in his beard. We were in the Cretaceous Period room when I realized that my phone was missing. I felt so much grief because there were photos of me and my newborn baby brother on that phone and I didn’t have any other copies! We told the security guard that my phone was stolen. Then we saw the man with a piece of cheese in his beard! He was walking right towards us! We were so scared. But then he handed my phone to me. He said that I dropped it in the Jurassic Period room. What a relief! It turns out the man is the owner of the museum. We told him about the cheese, and he laughed a lot. Then he bought us pizza!
