A Day in a Zoo

We are in a zoo today. There are lots of animals here. Our teacher is telling us about them. Let’s listen to her.

This is a lion. It’s the biggest and strongest cat. It likes eating and sleeping. It can run fast. It’s got very strong legs. When it roars, all animals get scared and run away.

This is a bear. It’s one of the strongest animals. It likes honey a lot. It can run and climb up a tree. It’s got brown or black fur. When you go camping, you must be very careful.

This is a dolphin. It is one of the cleverest fish. It can swim and leap out of the water. It’s got a long nose and mouth. When it wants to communicate with people, it makes sounds.

This is a kangaroo. It is one of the biggest animals. It can jump. It’s got long legs and short arms. When it needs to carry its babies, it keeps them in its pouch.

This is a bat. It is one of the smallest animal of the zoo. It likes sleeping in dark places. It can fly, see and find its way at night. It’s got wings. It is a dangerous animal because it has got fangs.
