A day in the Shopping Centre

Today is Saturday. Toby and Sophie are happy because their father is taking them to a shopping centre. The shopping centre is

ten miles from their house. Its name is Downtown. They love spending time there. There are many shops and a cinema and a

big playground in it. Toby and Sophie do some shopping first. After that, they have fun at the playground. They feel hungry.

They go to a restaurant. Their father orders a pizza. Toby orders fish and chips. Sophie asks, “Is there any chicken for

me?” The waiter says, “I’m sorry, there isn’t any chicken”. Sophie feels sad because chicken is her favourite food. She asks,

“Is there soup for me?”. The waiter says “Yes, there is chicken soup.” Sophie feels happy. They eat their lunch and have fun

together.
