A Family Picnic

I am Tom. I am nine years old. Yesterday I was on a picnic with my family. The picnic area was near a forest. There were a lot of trees, flowers and animals around us.

My sister, Jane is four years old and she loves animals, especially ducks. Our food was in a big basket. There were four sandwiches, one for everyone, and lots of fruits. There was some orange and apple juice, too. There wasn’t any lemonade. I was sad because it’s my favourite. There was a lake in the forest. It was small but there were some ducks and squirrels around it. Jane was very happy with the ducks and wanted to play with them but they ran away.
