A Funny Surprise

Jenna: How was your birthday party last year? I heard that it was great.

Brian: Yes, it was. I loved it. It was great and very funny.

Jenna: Funny? Why?

Brian: Well, my sister and friends surprised me in a funny way!

Jenna: Tell me about it.

Brian: On my birthday, I was waiting for a surprise in the evening, like every birthday party.

Jenna: Let me guess! They surprised you in the morning.

Brian: Yes, and I was lying in my bed! They just walked in with two cakes and some presents, started making loud noises and woke me up.

Jenna: Oh, I don’t like people to wake me up like that. Did they do other stuff?

Brian: Yes. I was trying to understand what was happening when my sister took the smaller cake and put it on my face.

Jenna: Well, that was quite a surprise!

Brian: And the funny part was that I was just wearing my shorts. That was embarrassing.
