A Great Adventure

A Great Adventure

Matthew and George wanted to go on a safari. Their parents gave permission, but they wanted to go with the boys and take a guide too. They had to see the wildlife.

On the first day they hid behind the bushes and watched the wild animals. First, they saw five rhinos. One of them saw the jeep and started walking to it. The children were scared and started to scream. The guide in the jeep drove them to a safe place. On the way, they saw nine monkeys. They were trying to eat the fruit on the tree. They arrived at a safe place and there were six baby giraffes beside a tree. They were trying to take food from the trees with their tongues. Three jackals came near the jeep and tried to scare them. When the jeep moved, they ran away. On their second day they were near a lake. In the morning twelve elephants came for a bath. After that, George saw seven zebras coming for water. Fifteen baboons joined them. Matthew counted five more zebras running near the lake. George was so excited, and he yelled, “This is great!” but three zebras were scared and ran away. They didn’t see any cheetahs or leopards. They didn’t hear any lions roaring but it was a great adventure for them.
