A GREAT HOLIDAY

Jackie: Today is Sunday, the last day of the week. I was busy with my project all week. So, Laura, you were on holiday, how was it?

Laura: It was great. Holidays are always great!

Jackie: Tell me more about your holiday? Where were you?

Laura: We were in Italy on Monday and Tuesday. Rome is a fantastic city. Streets and museums were so crowded since it was a national holiday.

Jackie: Where were you after Rome?

Laura: Well, we were in Paris Tuesday through Friday. People were so polite in France and the food was very delicious. The weather was sunny and hot for the whole week.

Jackie: What about the weekend?

Laura: We were at home on Saturday. My family and I were so tired that we stayed home.

Jackie: Good idea! How are you today?

Laura: I’m OK today. I’m trying to finish my homework now.
