A GREAT SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Hello, I’m Hank! It’s a beautiful Sunday afternoon! The weather is hot and sunny. I like Sunday afternoons because we always go somewhere fun. Today we are in the park. The park is very big. It has got lots of trees and grass, but it hasn’t got a lake. My brother and sister and I sit together on a big blanket with my parents.

My parents want to start eating, but my sister and I aren’t hungry, so we don’t want to eat anything now. We just want to run around and play football with the other kids in the park. We see our friend from school in the park. His dad is teaching him to ride a bike. I think I’m getting hungry, though. I hope the burgers are ready soon. We have bread and cheese, so we can make cheeseburgers. They are my favourite!
