A Healthy Lifestyle

Hi, I’m Dr Peterson, and I want to talk to you about having a healthy lifestyle.

You are 9 or 10 years old, so you should eat very well. You should eat all kinds of food – vegetables, grains, protein and so on. Bad eating habits can make you unhealthy, and unhealthy children get ill very often.

In winter, I always see lots of children who have a cold. They should eat lots of vegetables because vegetables have different kinds of vitamins.

Children should do sport too. For that, they should eat lots of protein and grains. These foods help them become stronger. Strong children can run faster and play sports very well.

Sweets are my favourite foods, but I don’t eat a lot of them because they can make me fat. You shouldn’t eat lots of sugar or drink a lot of cola. They’re bad for your teeth too.
