A Letter to Lucy

Dear Lucy,

How are you? I hope you and your family are in good health. I’m in Dubai right now with my parents and we are having a great holiday.

Did you know that winters are warm and sunny in Dubai? Dubai is in a desert. There are many activities to do here. Every morning, we wake up early and go to a restaurant. We have breakfast there. Then, we go swimming. I swim in the sea, even in winter! It is amazing. Every day, we go to Dubai Mall. It is very big and there are lots of shops in the mall. We watch the Water Show in the evening at Dubai Mall.

Today, I am bored with the mall and the sea. So, I’m going to go to a water park. It is called Yas Waterworld. It is in Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates. There are large and tall water slides. Water slides make me feel scared because they are very high but I love them, too. Tomorrow, we are going to go on a desert safari. Then, we are going to ride a camel. At night, there is going to be a party. Finally, my father and I are going to visit the Burj Khalifa. It is higher than all the other buildings in the world. I am going to see Dubai from a high place. This makes me feel excited.

I miss you and my other friends, too. We are going to come back home on Wednesday evening.

Let’s meet on Sunday morning. I want to tell you more about my holiday.
