A Little Bird

Abby and Roger are camping. They walk in the forest every morning. They see many different animals. One morning they find a baby bird. The baby bird is so small and hungry. Abby gives the bird some nuts. It eats the nuts. Roger puts the bird in his hat. They bring it home. They make a warm nest for the bird. Every evening they give it food and water. Every morning they put the bird near the window. One morning the bird flaps its wings and flies outside. It sits on a tree. It sings a beautiful song. The bird is happy and free now. Abby and Roger are happy, too.
