A Musical Genius
Mozart was born in 1756 in Austria. He lived before there were cars or trains. Mozart’s father was a music teacher. He was the greatest child star that ever lived. He started playing the piano and the violin at the age of three. When he was six years old, he travelled all over Europe and he learned to speak fifteen different languages. Mozart played for the Emperor of Austria at his palace. Mozart and his father stayed in London for a year in 1763 and he played for King George III. He composed his first opera in 1768 when he was twelve years old. He was a poor man. He worked hard and earned money by teaching and composing music. In 1782, Mozart married Constanze. She was a singer, too. In the summer of 1791, he was ill and he died in December 1791.
