A New Life in a New Town

A New Life in a New Town

My family is going to move to a small town in three weeks because my father doesn’t want to live in a big city anymore. Now, we are planning everything. Next week everybody is going to pack their own suitcases with their clothes and personal things. In two weeks, we are going to tidy up the house together and put everything in big boxes. In three weeks, a big lorry is going to come to take all of the luggage, furniture and boxes. Then, we are going to drive to the small town together. The lorry is going to follow us. My father told us many things about our new town. He said it is a very small town, so there aren’t going to be any cinemas or shopping malls. He said for these kinds of activities, we are going to go to a nearby city. There we can go to a cinema or shopping mall. But, we must plan ahead for these activities because the nearest large city is one hour from our small town. I said to my sister, ‘It is going to be a boring and hard life for us.’ But my sister said, ‘Don’t worry. I think we are going to spend more time as a family and it is going to be more fun!’ Let’s see who is going to be right!
