A New Student: Grace

Grace is new at school. She doesn’t have any friends. It’s 12 o’clock. It’s lunchtime at school. Grace is in the cafeteria. She’s lonely. She sits alone at the table.  She’s very sad.

“Hello” says a girl.  “My name’s Lilly. Can I sit with you?” she says. Lilly is a nice girl. “I don’t want you to be sad and lonely.” says Lilly.  They eat together. They talk and laugh. They walk home together. They both like animals a lot. Lilly likes elephants and Grace likes them too. Lily and Grace are friends now. Grace isn’t sad or lonely anymore because she has got a good friend.
