A Phone Call

A Phone Call

David: Hi Sandy, I hope that I’m not phoning at a bad time. Are you doing your homework?

Sandy: No, I am watching my favourite show on TV. My homework is finished. Why?

David: I am trying to finish my maths homework but I’m having a lot of trouble with it.

Sandy: Sorry, I can’t help you. I’m not very good at maths!

David: That’s OK. I’m calling you because I’m meeting John and Kate after school tomorrow and I wanted to know if you want to join us.

Sandy: Sorry but I can’t. I’m going to a concert with my sister tomorrow afternoon. We can’t miss this concert. Adele is coming to town for the last time.

David: Oh, really. Why last?

Sandy: Well, she is always giving concerts and very busy with her job, and she is planning to take a break for her private life. Thanks for asking though.

David: Maybe next time then.

Sandy: OK. I hope you get your maths homework done!

David: Enjoy the concert and take as many photos as you can.
