A Postcard For Grandma

Dear Grandma,
I’m at Blue River Summer Camp and it’s amazing here. I have many new friends and every day we are learning different skills and doing new activities. We have classes in painting, knitting, tennis, baseball, volleyball and many other sports and activities.
Right now, some of my friends are playing badminton. Oh, no! Their ball is going into the river. Some girls are water-skiing. They are going up and down on the water. I don’t really like team sports. I like running. I also enjoy painting, too. Some students are having a race now. They’re running and jumping over some nets. I want to join the team, too.
In the evenings, some students play the violin and sing songs by the campfire. We go to bed early because we get quite tired at the end of the day. I’m having a wonderful time here. In the photo, I’m getting ready for the race.
