A short interview
Tom: Hi Fred. How are you?
Fred: Fine, thanks. How about you?
Tom: I’m doing fine. Can I ask you some questions? I want to do a survey of my classmates.
Fred: OK. What’s the survey about?
Tom: It’s about what kinds of transport they use.
Fred: That’s an interesting survey. All right, I’m ready for the first question.
Tom: OK. What kinds of transport do you use?
Fred: I use my dad’s car, the school bus, the city bus and taxis.
Tom: How do you use your dad’s car? Do you drive it?
Fred: No, my dad drives me to school, but not every day.
Tom: When do you use the school bus?
Fred: I use it on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Tom: Why don’t you use it on Fridays?
Fred: Because my dad drives me to school.
Tom: Right! You use taxis, but why?
Fred: On Wednesdays, I go to my music class after school. I take a taxi there.
Tom: Thanks for your answers.
Fred: You’re welcome.
