A Sunny Day

A Sunny Day

Mike: It’s a beautiful sunny day, Max. I love sunny days. Shall we go on a picnic? We can have so much fun in the forest.

Max: Oh! It’s a great idea. I love sunny days, too, but I also love rainy days.

Mike: Rainy days? You must be kidding!

Max: I really like rainy days. I love being at home and watching the rain from my window.

Mike: You are so romantic!

Max: Hahaha! Don’t you like rainy days? What’s your favourite type of weather?

Mike: Actually, I don’t like rainy weather. I hate getting wet. I like sunny days a lot. On sunny days, you can go swimming and sunbathe.

Max: OK. Well, today is a sunny day! Why don’t we go to the beach instead of going on a picnic?

Mike: All right. Let’s call Joyce! She might want to join us, too . . .

Mike: Hey, Joyce. It’s Mike. Max and I are planning to go to the beach. Do you want to join us?

Joyce: Hi, Max. It’s too hot outside. I don’t like sunny days.

Mike: Oh, OK. What weather do you like? Joyce: I like snowy weather. I like playing with snowballs.

Mike: Come on! Everybody loves snowy days. It’s June now, so we should enjoy the sun!

Joyce: I know, but it’s too early now. How about meeting at 4 p.m.?

Mike: Deal! See you at the beach then.
