A Traffic Accident

Katrina: Where were you, Chris? I called you more than ten times yesterday.

Chris: Ah, don’t ask, Katrina. I had a terrible accident.

Katrina: Oh no! What happened?

Chris: Well, I was riding my bike, and suddenly a car turned onto the road. The driver wasn’t looking, so he hit me and I fell off the bike.

Katrina: Oh my God! Did you get injured?

Chris: No, but I had a few bruises here and there.

Katrina: Did you go to hospital?

Chris: No, I said I was OK, so the driver said sorry and drove away.

Katrina: Do you have any pain in a part of your body?

Chris: Yes, my arm hurts. But I think I will be all right. Yesterday evening, I couldn’t move my arm. Now, it’s better.

Katrina: You must go to hospital and have an X-ray. Come on! Let’s go together. I can drive my dad’s car.

Chris: Thanks, Katrina. Let me call my parents and let them know first.
