A TRIP TO INDIA

I’m Sasha Müller. I’m from Germany and I’d like to share my trip notes with you.

Today is the fifth day of my adventurous trek in Chadar, India. I’m terribly exhausted. The only thing I want to do is finish the whole route by tomorrow. My legs are shaking and my feet are killing me, but I don’t want to quit because I have some new places to explore here. India is very different from my country. In Germany, people have a comfortable life and they have enough food to eat. However, in India, conditions are not easy. They have a system called ‘saste’. There are different social groups of people according to their wealth and jobs. As a result, there are so many poor people.

Nowadays, I’m learning the language of the natives. People speak a lot of different languages here. The villagers are trying to teach me one of them, but it’s really difficult. I think I need to practice more. At the moment, I’m traveling with Colin. He is a British student. He is having a conversation with an Indian lady about India. Colin is a clever and adventurous boy
