A TYPICAL WEEKEND AT HOME

I’m Emily and here’s our typical weekend. In my family, everybody wakes up very late at the weekend.
My sister Zoe and I get up around nine and play some games. She tries to read my diary sometimes, but I always get it back and hide it. I always brush my teeth in the morning, but Zoe never brushes her teeth when she gets up. I also get dressed, but she wears her pyjamas until lunchtime! We often have breakfast around 10:30.
Mum usually makes some omelettes for us and Dad makes some delicious blueberry pancakes for everyone.
After breakfast, he likes being lazy and he just reads his newspaper and drinks some coffee on the balcony.
Mum usually goes out, rides her bike and exercises for an hour in the park. Both Mum and Dad work at a bank, so they don’t have much free time during the week. On the weekend they often go to the cinema together.
Zoe likes to go to the library, so my mum takes her to the City Centre Library almost every Saturday. My dad helps me with my maths homework I don’t like Maths. In the evening, my sister watches some cartoons with Mum. I don’t like cartoons, I think they are for little kids. Dad usually fixes some old radios or broken devices in the house. He says it relaxes him. Sometimes we go to watch a dance or music performance at night.
Weekends are never boring with my family.
