A Wonderful Holiday

Dear Terry,

We’re staying at a hotel in Scotland. The weather has been great – really hot and sunny. I’m burning, and we’ve got another five days here! We’ve been lucky so far. Everyone here says that it usually rains in November.

We’ve done a lot of fascinating things. We’ve climbed mountains, sailed across one of the lakes and visited some old castles. I’m really tired from all the walking. I’ve taken some great photos with my new camera. My brother has done a lot of walking and hill-climbing. Tomorrow he wants to go for a twenty-kilometre walk around a lake!

We’ve had a good time in the evenings too. We’ve eaten in the hotel and had some delicious fish. We’ve also met some great people here. There are a few other teenagers in the hotel, and I’ve spent the evenings playing table tennis and watching videos with them. Well, I have to go now.
