ABOUT MY LAST HOLIDAY

I went to Vienna with my cousins last February. We flew there on the first day of the winter break. We stayed in a great hotel for four days. During the first two days, we walked around the city and visited some museums. We saw a lot of famous places like the Leopold Museum and Schönbrunn Palace. Unlike my previous holidays, I took hundreds of photos. At night, we went to famous restaurants and had fantastic schnitzel, pie and goulash. We bought some clothes, frames and bags. It was very cold, but we had a fantastic time. Vienna is a very nice city with a lot of historical places and the food is wonderful.

During my last holiday, my family and I were in our summer house for a week. It was a long way from our town, but my father is an excellent driver so it wasn’t so bad. Our house is alongside Lake Mälaren in Västerås, Sweden. Every day, we woke up very early in the morning, we had breakfast in the garden and swam in the lake. We hired a speedboat for a day. It was fantastic! One day, we went to Skrapan, which is one of the most famous skyscrapers in Sweden. There , we sat in a cafe at the top and had some fruit cocktail. The weather was cool, and we had a great time.

Last summer, I went to London and Brussels with my aunt and my cousin. First, we flew to London. In London, we stayed at a friend of my aunt’s home for five days. We saw many famous places in London, like Tower Bridge and the London Eye. We took lots of photos there. In the evenings, we went to restaurants. I tasted some traditional British food and I liked it. The next week, we went to Barcelona by the “Eurostar”. We travelled through the Channel Tunnel, which is the longest underwater tunnel in the world. In Brussels, we stayed in a small hotel in the city centre for six days and visited a lot of places. I liked the Belgian Royal Museum of Fine Arts and Notre-Dame du Sablon most. It was an amazing holiday.
