ALFIE’S HOMEWORK

ALFIE’S HOMEWORK

Alfie and his friends learned about jobs yesterday at school. The teacher gave everyone homework. She asked them to write about their family, neighbours and their jobs. Alfie went home. He thought about what to do. Then he started to write.

My mother Diane is a nurse. She works in a hospital. My father Ben is a doctor. He works at the same hospital with my mother. My grandmother Martha is a teacher. She works at a university. My grandfather Robert is a mechanic. He works in a shop. My uncle Daniel is a journalist. He works in a newspaper office. My aunt Helen is a businesswoman. She works in her own office. One of our neighbours Mr. Miller is a postman. He delivers all our posts with his bike. Mrs. Smith is a photographer. She has an office, but she works outside. When I grow up, I want to be a businessman. I want to wear a suit, a tie and I want to work in a big office. I want to be successful.

Alfie finished his homework. The next day, he presented his homework to the class. His teacher gave him a big star for his good work.
