Amazing Bodies

Did you know that the smallest bone in your body is in your ear? It’s a tiny bone in your middle ear. It’s only 3mm long. It can be the smallest bone, but it is very important for the human body. We can’t hear without it.

The largest bone in our body is the thighbone. It starts at your hip and ends at your knee.

What about the hardest bone in your body? Let me give you a hint. It’s on your face and you chew your food with it. It’s your jawbone and it holds your teeth.

Animals have different bones. They are bigger and usually stronger than ours. The strongest jaw in the world belongs to a hippopotamus. They look so cute and playful, but hippos are one of the most dangerous animals in the wild. A hippo bite is stronger than a shark or a lion’s bite. I think they are scary. What do you think?
