An interesting book
Carl: What are you reading, Kelly?
Kelly: It’s a book called The Terrifying Land.
Carl: Is it fiction?
Kelly: Yes, it is. I don’t know what kind of fiction, though.
Carl: Why? Is it a mix of genres?
Kelly: Yes. The story includes parts where the characters engage in sword fights with strange creatures, but there are also parts where the main two characters fall in love with each other.
Carl: I like such stories. A combination of genres makes the story more interesting.
Kelly: That’s not it, though. The story also involves the horrible death of 6 major characters in the story. Those are the sad parts, especially after a few pages of suspense where you don’t know what’s about to happen on the next page.
Carl: Looks like the author has invested a lot of time in writing this story.
Kelly: True. The character building in the story is amazing. You have a mixture of characters – ones that want to do good, ones that want to do harm and ones that are in between.
Carl: What about the main characters?
Kelly: I think that I can connect with the male character, but I can never understand the female character.
Carl: Sounds like a cool book. Can I borrow it when you’ve finished reading it?
Kelly: Sure. I won’t spoil it for you, though. So don’t ask me too many questions about the story.
