An Interview with an Author

Pete has just interviewed a famous writer Liliane Martinez.

Tina: How did your interview with Liliane Martinez go?

Pete: It was amazing. I asked her lots of questions.

Tina: Did you ask her whether she’d finished her new book?

Pete: No, I didn’t, because I knew it wasn’t finished. But I asked her what other books she was going to start writing this year.

Tina: What did she say?

Pete: Well, she said that she didn’t have any plans for another book this year. I asked her if she wanted to stop working for a while.

Tina: I guess she said that she didn’t.

Pete: Right. We should wait and see what’s coming this year. I also asked her when she was planning to marry her fiancé. She denied that there would be a wedding soon, but she admitted that she would definitely marry him.

Tina: How interesting! Did you ask her why she hadn’t posted anything on Instagram since last year?

Pete: Oh, I did. She said that she had fired her social-media manager and that she would start being active on Instagram soon.
