ANCIENT CHINA DYNASTIES
13 dynasties ruled ancient China. The second one was the Shang Dynasty. The Shang Dynasty lasted for around 600 years. It had 30 different emperors. It is also called the Yin Dynasty.
Tang was the founder of this dynasty. Tang brought in many changes with the help of his two assistants.
He was a kind and honest emperor. People were happy and the country was rich during his time. Everything was fine until the ninth emperor. The Shang Dynasty started to fall after the ninth emperor. Family members of the tenth emperor tried to stop him and take charge of the throne, but they weren’t successful.
The last emperor of the Shang Dynasty was Zhou. He wasn’t a popular emperor. He was dishonest. He tortured his people and lived a luxurious life. Soon he lost his power and the empire was taken over by Wuwang chief of the Chou Dynasty.
The Qin Dynasty was the fourth one. It played an important role in the history of China. It ruled China for 15 years. The Great Wall of China was built under the order of Emperor Qin. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
