Ancient Rome

The year is 50 BC. Your time machine tells you that you are in the ancient city of Rome. You have half an hour to explore the city.
The first Roman King Romulus built the city in 753 BC. It became a rich and powerful city over the years. The city was famous for its buildings. One of the most beautiful ones is the Colosseum.
The Colosseum was the sports stadium of ancient Rome. The Colosseum had seats for about 45,000 people. It was built of concrete and stone. It had four main floors. The Colosseum was mainly used for gladiator fights.
