ANDREW WANTS TO BE AN ARCHEOLOGIST
Andrew woke up very early on Saturday. He had a quick breakfast and got dressed. His father took him to the Museum of Natural History.
Andrew liked the museum a lot because there were many big skeletons of prehistoric animals like dinosaurs, mammoths. He learned many interesting facts about the mammoths; for example, they had small ears.
Scientists found the first mammoth skeleton in1799. In 2012, a Russian boy called Yevgeny, found a skeleton of a mammoth while he was walking his dogs.
“I want to go to Russia! Maybe I can find an ancient skeleton, too!” he said to his father excitedly. Andrew bought a big poster about mammoths for his room. After the museum, they had some free time left.
His father took him to a Russian restaurant. They ate some traditional Russian food. Andrew had cabbage soup and his father ate some chicken with vegetables.
They talked about prehistoric times.“I couldn’t take you to Russia today, but we came to a Russian restaurant,” his father said. Andrew laughed and thanked his father. He said he wanted to be an archaeologist when he grows up. He put the poster on the wall next to his bed. That night Andrew went to bed early looking at the poster, and he dreamed about finding mammoths and fossils of other prehistoric animals.
