APRIL FOOLS
April Fool’s Day is on the first of April every year. Its origins are uncertain. No one exactly knows how or when it all started. People can play jokes on each other and they have great fun. That’s why you mustn’t believe what someone says to you and you shouldn’t trust anyone, even your family members on that day. Your brother may change the alarm to wake you up very late or very early. Your mom and dad may put some salt in your morning milk. Of course, this is all done just for fun. When the trick is done, people say “April Fools” and the person realizes that is was just a joke.
Some of the best jokes are on TVs, radio channels, or even newspapers. For instance, in 1957 a BBC television program showed Italians picking spaghetti from spaghetti trees. A very large number of people called the BBC wanting to know how to grow spaghetti trees. In 2008, the BBC again reported on discovery of flying penguins and their travel to the Amazon Rainforest. In conclusion, you must keep your eyes open on the first day of April or you must stay at home alone and do nothing on that day if you want to be safe.
