Around Town

Around Town

Last week my brother, Dad and I went around town. We had many errands to do. We stopped at many different places. My little brother lost his favourite ninja figure somewhere. ‘Dad! I lost my toy!’ my little brother cried. ‘Don’t worry, we will find it!’ Dad said. We went back to the supermarket and went inside. My brother asked at the customer service, ‘Did anyone find a ninja figure?’ ‘I’m sorry, no one found that,’ the clerk said. Next, we went back to the shopping centre. We walked around and checked all the different shops. We asked many different people, but no one saw my brother’s toy. Last, we went to the library. We went inside, and I asked the librarian, ‘Did you see a ninja figure? It’s got black clothes and a red mask.’ She didn’t see it. It was late, so Dad drove home. My brother was very upset. We went inside the house. Mum asked, ‘What’s the matter?’ ‘He lost his ninja figure,’ I said. ‘Do you mean the one with black clothes and a red mask?’ Mum asked. ‘Yes!’ said my brother. ‘It’s in the living room,’ Mum said. ‘You never took it with you!’.
