AT THAT TIME

Hi, my name’s Tina. There’s a big difference between my life and my grandpa’s life.
There are things I can do now, but my grandpa couldn’t.
When he was a kid, he could do things that I can’t do now. My grandpa grew up in a small village.
He and his family didn’t have a phone, and there was no Internet.
But my grandpa learnt lots of things in his life. He could cut trees and make food when he was 7.
When he was 16, he could make his own house and live alone in the forest.
When I was 6, I could use mobile phones, and I could read difficult English words.
I learnt to cook when I was 7 but I couldn’t cut trees, and I still can’t today!
