Aunt Megan's Farm

My aunt Megan has a big farm. There are lots of different types of fruit trees and vegetables. For example, there are some cherry trees. Aunt Megan makes cherry juice with her cherries. There are also some peach and pear trees. She makes delicious peach pie and pear jam. There are some olive trees, too. Aunt Megan makes her olive oil. She hasn’t got any plum trees because she is allergic to plums.

There is a vegetable garden on the farm. There are some peas and beans. There are tomato and pepper plants. There are also some cauliflower and broccoli plants in the garden. There aren’t any carrots because my cousin Sarah is allergic to carrots. Horse stables, chicken coops, cowsheds and kennels are near the vegetable garden. There is also a large pond in the middle of the farm. Every summer, we stay in Aunt Megan’s farmhouse for two weeks. I help her collect fruit from the trees with my cousin Sarah. My mother makes jam and tomato paste with fresh fruit and vegetables. My sister feeds animals with my father. We all have a great time on the farm.
