Hi, my name is Joe. I was born in Spain. Because of my mother’s job, we have lived in many different countries. Although I sometimes face difficulties, I often like the places we live in. We moved to Austria two years ago. I was really excited when my mother said she got a job in Vienna. I thought it would be a nice place to live in. My first problem was that I didn’t use to know anything about the culture. My classmates were all into skiing and camping. The mountains here are beautiful, but I didn’t use to be interested in skiing or camping before. It sounded a little dangerous. Then I started taking skiing classes. It was hard at the beginning but in time I became better at it. My classmates also told me that I was a fast learner! Another problem was the language. I took German classes before we moved here but speaking was not as easy as I thought. With the help of my teachers and friends, I’m doing better now. Everything is great. Last Saturday, we went camping with my classmates and teachers. We had great fun there! While we were preparing dinner together, we heard a strange noise coming from the forest. First, everyone was afraid because we thought it was a wild animal. Then, we realized it was Justin, one of our classmates. He thought it would be funny to scare his friends. The teachers were a little angry at him but he apologized and had to do all the dishes!
