Batman

Batman is one of the most popular superheroes. He is a great comic book icon. He is also known as the Dark Knight. His aim is to protect Gotham City. He has been hero for many years and he will remain so. His story is unlike the others. 

Batman, whose original name is Bruce Wayne, lived in Gotham City as a child. When he was very young, he experienced a tragedy. One night, while he was walking home with his family, they came across armed robbers. The night was like a nightmare and he can still remember every detail of it. One of his enemies today was one of the robbers from that night. He is called Joker. During his life, he never forgets the things he experienced in that horrible night, and unfortunately, his life in Gotham reminds him often. 

In addition to his history, his money also make him unique. He is rich! He has many mansions and he uses his money to help people in need. 

Unlike many other superheroes, Batman doesn’t have any superpowers, but he has some super equipment to fight with. Some of them are bulletproof suits, weapons and the other things he keeps around his belt. These things help him a lot during his fight against enemies and help him to protect the city. 

Batman has fought against many enemies in Gotham, The Penguin and Joker are on the top of the list. During this fighting and protecting process, he also has some sidekicks like Gotham City Police, Robin, Superman and Batgirl. He is also one of the members of the Justice League, which includes also Wonder Women and the Green Lantern.
