Be a Fit Kid
When you’re fit, your body works well, feels good, and can do all the things you want to do. Here are five rules for you to be fit.
1. Eat a Variety of Food: We all have a favourite food, but the best thing to do is to eat different kinds of food. When you eat different food, your body gets the nutrients that it needs.
2. Drink Water & Milk: You need lots of water after you play or do sport because our body loses water. Drinking enough water is good for our body. You need calcium to build strong bones, and you can find a lot of calcium in milk.
3. Listen to Your Body: We like some food very much and we want to eat it more and more. When your stomach is full, stop eating. Eating too much makes you sick and overweight.
4. Limit Screen Time: This is the time you spend watching TV, playing console games and using a smart phone, tablet, or computer. Try to spend less screen time. Use your time to be active, do sport or exercise like basketball, bike riding and swimming.
5. Be Active: Everyone is different and likes different things. Try different sports and activities, and find which one you like. You must do your favourite activity often.
