Being in Saskatchewan, Canada

Being in Saskatchewan, Canada

My name is Ahmad, and I’m from Saudi Arabia. I’ve just arrive in Saskatoon in Saskatchewan, Canada.
I’m an exchange student here for 9 months, and
I want to experience a lot of things.
It’s my first time in another country,
but the Robinsons, the family that I’m staying with, have been very helpful.
Tomorrow I’m going to sign up at school, and one week later I’m going to start.
Joe is the youngest child in the family, and we’ve become
close friends since I arrived.
He’s going to take me to a national park in
Saskatchewan. I’m going to see real-life moose for the first time.
I have
only seen them in nature magazines and on the Internet. We’re going to explore the area and take pictures.
The scenery here is fantastic. So far, I
have only seen deserts and mountains in real life,
but this experience is
going to be different. Oh, and let’s not forget the winter.
Winter is going to bring snow, and
I’m so excited about seeing snow.
Joe has become interested in seeing a
desert because he’s never been to a desert before.
He’s planning to see the
Mojave Desert when he travels to Los Angeles with his family next year.
