Ben And His Family

Ben and his family live near a beautiful lake. There are lots of fish in the lake. Ben’s grandfather visits them at the weekends and they go fishing together. Their house is in the woods. They have horses, chicken, ducks and sheep in their little farm. Many birds visit the lake to rest in the trees. Ben and his mother wanted to build a bird house for them.

First, they went to a hardware store to buy building materials. Mr Walker works at the hardware store and he helped Ben and his mother to get what they needed. They bought pieces of wood, a tube of strong glue and some string. Then, they went to the pet shop to buy some seeds and a water bowl for birds. Miss Poppy works at the pet shop and she helped them to get what they needed.

They used the wood and the strong glue to build the bird house. They hung it outside with a piece of string. Ben’s father placed food and water bowls in the bird house. Soon birds started to enter the house and eat seeds. Ben and his parents were very happy! Now they want to make a dog house.
