BENSON’S KITCHEN TIME

Hi! I’m Tina and this is my family. It’s Saturday. It’s my favourite day, because my whole family cooks together in the kitchen. My mum cooks the dinner. My dad makes the salad. My younger brother helps him chop the vegetables. I make a delicious cake. We sing and dance. I love kitchen times with my family. Today, I’ve got a new cake recipe. It’s a chocolate cake. I mix sugar with three eggs. Then I add butter and some flour. I mix them for 5 minutes. Then I add chocolate pieces into the mixture. I put the tray into the oven. I bake it for 25 minutes. Then it smells delicious. Today my mum is cooking tomato soup and makes our favourite food, pizza margarita, for us. She is a great cook. She adds three different kinds of cheese. That makes the pizza more delicious. It tastes great. She boils the sauce. She also peels and fries the potatoes. I love fries. My dad is making green salad. We all love vegetables, so he adds tomato, cucumber, lemon, lettuce, green apple and even orange. He is good at making salad. Everything is ready. Now, it’s eating time!
