Best Friends Forever - BFF

“Best Friend” means the same thing for almost everybody – a person who is always there when you need him or her. Your best friend is someone who shares your happiness, shares your worries and understands you when you are upset or angry. As one girl said, “A best friend is somebody you can call in the middle of the night to ask for homework or to talk about a problem you have, and even if it is 2-3 a.m. your friend says: “ I’m listening or let me help you.”

Different factors can help develop a best friendship: the age of the people, when and how they met, how much time they spend together and their similarities. You need to make an effort and work hard to build a strong friendship, as it doesn’t just happen itself.

There is also one more thing that everyone thinks is very important which is “safety.” A best friend makes you feel safe. You never have to explain yourself to your best friends because they understand you well. You can be exactly who you are when you are with them. You can cry hard or laugh too loud and never worry about what they’ll think. Best friends give you advice when you need some, but they will never judge you or make you feel bad about what you do. A best friend gives you unconditional love. That means complete love, without any limits.

Best friends are loyal and honest. A best friend is a person who you can tell your most embarrassing personal secrets to. You can be sure that your best friend won’t tell your secrets to anyone else. Best friends are completely honest to each other whatever happens.

Finally, best friends are the family you choose. They love you because they want to, not because they have to. For many people, a best friend becomes the sister or brother they always wanted but never had. Your best friend is the person you call when something great, terrible, amazing, interesting, and many others happen to you.
