Beverly's School Day

Hi! My name is Beverly. It’s noon, I’m at school and I’m sitting in the canteen with my friends. I’ve got a Geography lesson later. Geography is a difficult subject! Jacob is drawing a funny cartoon of our history teacher, Mr Knucklehead and we are laughing! Mr Knucklehead is very funny. He never combs his hair or brushes his teeth.

Some girls from my Art class are sitting on the stairs and talking, but my friend Joanna is still in the classroom. She is having an exam. Joanna is quite good at PE, but she is shy. That’s why she hates after-school activities. A group of children from my Math class are playing chess in the corridor because the teacher is having a break now. Oh, there is Marilyn! She is going to the library. She is working on a project and I’m helping her. Andy is in the science lab. He’s studying chemistry and he loves it!

Some of my friends are doing their paintings. Gail and Nick are great artists! I’m not good at art, but I love music very much. I play in our school band. We’re preparing for the school festival. It’s very exciting.
