Big Family

Hello everybody! I’m Sam, and this is my big family. I love spending time with my family. Actually, we’re a small family with four people: dad, mum, my brother and me. But we go on holiday with my uncles, aunts and cousins. Small families come together to make one big family.

My grandparents live in a village. My uncles and aunts live in a big city. My father is a doctor and he works at a hospital. My uncle is an engineer and works at a factory. My aunt is a pilot and she has a busy life flying to different airports. We only get the chance to see them all on holidays. We visit our grandparents. They feel happy when we visit them. My father’s name is John. He is very polite. He helps sick people at the hospital. My uncle, Jimmy, is very funny. He tells jokes and makes us laugh. My aunt, Jessie, is very clever. She doesn’t just fly planes – she also speaks four languages!

I’ve got two cousins. I love them both. We play games and have fun together. Betty is very quiet – she never speaks, but she sings very well. Harry is very noisy, he always jumps on the sofas. His mother always says ‘Harry! Stop!’ But Harry never stops. Me? I don’t know. I am quite strong. I can carry heavy boxes for my mother.
