Bonfire Night

Bonfire night is on November 5th. Bonfire night is also known as Guy Fawkes Night. Many people in the U.K. celebrate Bonfire Night with family and friends. They light bonfires after dark and let off fireworks. Some people let off fireworks in their garden at home. Others enjoy watching big firework displays in parks.

Fireworks are fun and beautiful but they can also be dangerous. Always watch them carefully and never touch lit fireworks. Don’t give fireworks to small children, and keep pets indoors. Dogs and cats get really scared when there are fireworks. Follow the firework safety code to stay safe!
