1.................................................................................... For as long as I can remember! I’ve always wanted to be a singer and I started when I was very young. My first performance ever was a song at my graduation – in kindergarten!
2.................................................................................... Not really. When I was eight, I tried out for a part for the TV show The Mickey Mouse Club, but I was rejected because I was too young. However, that didn’t discourage me. I took classes at the Broadway Dance Centre and at the Professional Performing Arts School. Then, I auditioned again, and I was finally accepted!
3.................................................................................... That was in 1999, and I was only sixteen. It was amazing! The song sold 463,000 copies in one week, and all of a sudden, I was famous!
4.................................................................................... Well, my lifestyle has changed completely. For the last few years I’ve been recording, performing and touring all the time. I mean, I’ve only had two days off in the last six months! It’s hard. I miss normal stuff, like walking down the street, but at the same time it’s very exciting. You know, people now recognise me everywhere I go.
5.................................................................................... Well, I suppose so. I get a bunch of emails every day and I try to answer as many as possible. I’ll tell you something funny. Some of my fans have even stolen dirt from my garden! Can you believe it?
6.................................................................................... Yes, he really did, but a newspaper found out, so the meeting was cancelled. You know how it is.
7.................................................................................... Sometimes. You see, I became successful overnight, and all this is really wonderful. But I can’t always expect to be number one, can I?
