Bubble Football

Bubble Football

Bubble football is originally a Norwegian sport and is a variation of classic football. It’s fun and good exercise. People usually play the game indoors in a sports hall, or outdoors on grass. Teams usually wear typical football kits, but they also wear very big bubble suits on top. The players need to score a goal and they try not to fall over. It’s just like regular football with two halves. Each half is 25 to 45 minutes long. Players do not touch the ball with their hands. The only person on the field with a free hand is the referee.
So when the ball is off the field, the referee runs after it and reintroduces it to the game. It helps to have two referees on the field during any game because players sometimes need a helping hand to get back up on their feet. People over the age of 14 can play bubble football and the number of players often changes from one country to another. There is always a risk of injuries such as twisted ankles or bruised knees, but the risk is not higher than in traditional football and you never get hit in the face. The only difference between traditional football and bubble football is that sometimes players can’t get upright after they fall because they are laughing too much. Bubble football is currently popular in many countries around the world including Australia, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Britain and the USA. It will be more popular worldwide in the future.
