Busy Day

Yesterday was a very busy day for everyone in our house. I was in my room all day long, because I had to reorganize it. I have worked so hard during these months. I had no time to clean and tidy up, so yesterday was a great chance for me to put away all my clothes and shoes. I put the dirty clothes in the washing machine. I packaged some of them to send to the dry cleaners too.

My sister was very busy with the whole house. She wasn’t happy with the decoration of the house, so she replaced many things. She bought a new armchair to put next to the window, so that we could see the view much better. It was a very comfortable one and we really liked it. We also didn’t like the dining room furniture and she replaced them with a new table and 6 new chairs.

My mother was very busy in the kitchen, because we had 10 guests for dinner. She is very good at cooking and everybody loves her meals. But yesterday something went wrong. There was roasted beef with rice and potato for dinner. Everything looked very delicious, but when we started tasting them we realized that beef was undercooked. But our guests were very kind. They didn’t make it a big problem. Other than that, everything was so tasty. At the end of the dinner everybody overate. We had a nice night all together.
