Buying Presents for Christmas

Diana and Molly were in a shopping mall. They wanted to shop for themselves and their friends, because Christmas was coming. First, Diana tried a black jacket. She said “I need something like this. I can wear it with my formal and casual clothes.” Molly said “You are right. The price is good too”. Diana bought the jacket and they went on shopping. Molly said “I want to buy a new pair of shoes, so I can wear them at the Christmas party too.” They went to a shoe store. There were many fashionable and trendy shoes, but they were too expensive, so they couldn’t buy anything. Later, they went to another shoe store. Molly tried three different pairs of shoes, but just one of them was comfortable so she bought it. Now, it was time to buy some presents for friends. This was the most difficult part. Diana said she would buy a backpack for John, because he needed a new one for school. Molly said she would buy a dress for Mia, because she always loved dresses. They did their shopping as they planned and all the presents were nicely wrapped.

The Christmas party was very crowded. All the presents were under the Christmas tree. At the end of the night, everybody opened their presents. John and Mia liked their presents and thanked their friends. When Molly and Diana were talking later, Diana said: “We spent a lot of money, but we made good choices.” By the way, their Christmas presents were a purse and a sweater. They loved their presents too.
